Maladaptive cannabis use causing distress or dysfunction, often associated with tolerance and withdrawal.

Etiology (Biopsychosocial Model)

Biological: THC alters CB1/CB2 receptors.

Psychological: Anxiety/depression relief, poor impulse control.

Social: Peer pressure, social normalization.
